Job summary

DOPEX is a US-based consultancy helping construction companies optimize their Acumatica ERP implementations. You will own deployments end-to-end, keep subcontractors on track, and be the trusted adviser to clients from kickoff to live operation.

This role emphasizes deep construction accounting knowledge, proactive discovery, and strong client communication. Fully remote with minimal travel; base salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Acumatica Construction Edition experience.
• Strong configuration skills across finance and project modules.
• Experience leading ERP implementations as the project manager.
• Real understanding of contractor workflows: job costing, WIP, subcontracts and billing.

Responsibilities

• Lead Acumatica Construction Edition implementations from kickoff to go-live: discovery, configuration, data migration, training and continuous support.
• Configure job costing, project accounting, commitments, change orders, progress billing, retainage, compliance and subcontract management.
• Manage your own projects: scope, schedule, budget and client communication.
• Oversee subcontractor partners on their projects and jump in when things get stuck.
• Put together estimates for projects, from new implementations to new support.
• Deliver continuous improvement work for live clients and run quarterly business reviews.
• Own support escalations and help meet response commitments.
• Review weekly project reports and raise risks early.

At DOPEX, we help construction companies work smarter by connecting people, processes and technology. We're an Acumatica Gold Certified Partner, and we believe a great ERP rollout starts with understanding how a business actually operates.

We're not a generic ERP shop. Our work is construction accounting, project controls and Procore integrations, done by people who've lived in these systems. We're growing our Acumatica practice, and this is our first full-time consultant hire.

The Role

You'll be the go-to expert on our Acumatica projects. You'll lead your own implementations, keep our subcontractor partners on track, and be the person clients trust to get them live and keep them happy long after go-live.

This isn't just a configuration role. We're looking for someone who understands how contractors run, asks great questions, builds trust, and helps clients see what's possible in Acumatica.

What You'll Do

• Lead Acumatica Construction Edition implementations from kickoff to go-live: discovery, configuration, data migration, training and continuous support.
• Configure job costing, project accounting, commitments, change orders, progress billing, retainage, compliance and subcontract management
• Manage your own projects: scope, schedule, budget and client communication
• Oversee our subcontractor partners on their projects, and jump in when things get stuck
• Put together estimates for projects, from new implementations to new support
• Deliver continuous improvement work for live clients and run quarterly business reviews
• Own support escalations and help us hit our response commitments
• Review weekly project reports and raise risks early, before they become surprises
• Set up new clients and keep our delivery process running the DOPEX way
• Help right-size support at renewal, working alongside sales

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on Acumatica Construction Edition experience
• Strong functional configuration skills across finance and project modules
• Experience leading ERP implementations as the project manager
• A real understanding of how contractors run: job costing, WIP, change orders, subcontracts and billing
• Comfort being client-facing. You can run a meeting with a CFO in the morning and a field PM in the afternoon.
• Clear, friendly communication, in writing and on calls
• You're organized, you follow through, and you like building a process that works

Nice to Have

• Procore and Agave integration experience
• Time working inside a construction company, not just implementing for one
• Experience with other construction ERPs (Sage 300 CRE, Sage Intacct Construction, Viewpoint, Foundation)
