Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Professional Actuarial Society (CAS) or SOA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in actuarial science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and tools, such as SAS, R, or ActuarialOutlook.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain actuarial models and projections to support underwriting and pricing decisions.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns that can inform business strategies.
• Collaborate with underwriters, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that actuarial inputs are aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare and present actuarial reports and findings to senior management and clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in actuarial science.
• Mentor and train junior staff on actuarial concepts and methodologies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new actuarial processes and systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of actuarial practices within the organization.
