Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze mortality, accident, sickness, disability, and retirement rates and construct probability tables.
• Apply actuarial principles to prepare analyses per CAS Code of Conduct and actuarial standards.
• Support pricing, reserving, modeling to ensure profitability and financial strength.
• Prepare summaries of actuarial analyses for Home Office, management, consultants, reinsurers, and regulators.
• Improve processes for actuarial analyses and documentation.
• Train less experienced analysts in spreadsheets, databases, and data sources.
