Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Build and enhance pricing and reserving models
  2. Develop assumptions using data-driven insights
  3. Recommend financial strategies aligned with company goals
  4. Ensure compliance with actuarial and financial standards
  5. Evaluate and test modeling approaches for effectiveness
  6. Collaborate with Ops, Tech, and PM teams on implementation
  7. Support broader strategic planning and risk assessments
  8. Advise on M&A, reinsurance, and other initiatives
  9. Design and maintain risk mitigation strategies
  10. Monitor market, credit, and operational risks
  11. Support development of reinsurance programs
  12. Maintain compliance with actuarial standards and reporting
  13. Serve as liaison for regulators and auditors
  14. Adapt processes to evolving regulations and industry norms
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. FSA or CFA, ASA preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and actuarial roles within the life insurance industry.
  3. Experience in data management, data engineering, or data science, particularly in actuarial or financial projects.
