Job summary

THREE Insurance is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to independently lead complex actuarial analyses, influencing business decisions from analysis through implementation. The role focuses on leading regulatory rate filings for commercial lines while supporting pricing, product development, and testing of rating systems.

The position is hybrid with two mandatory in-office days per week at our Stamford, CT location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of actuarial pricing/reserving experience in Property & Casualty
• Experience with rate filings
• Passing the CAS Exam (Exam 5) preferred
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, VBA or similar data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory rate filings and system rate implementations for commercial lines
• Lead the current-state filings capability and define a long-term filings transformation roadmap
• Partner across Pricing, Product, Technology, and Insurance regulators to improve efficiency and quality
• Identify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve processes and derive actionable insights
• Establish governance practices and resolve process gaps
• Represent THREE's position with regulators, auditors, and external partners
• Contribute to rate indications, reserving analyses, profitability studies across lines
• Assist across a diverse product set and contribute to effective solutions
• Help identify and implement improved methods to enhance team effectiveness and present analyses
