Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services seeks an Actuarial Intern to work directly with our actuaries on hands-on projects and present a self-directed, business-driven project to senior leaders. You will gain exposure to Product Development, Actuarial Valuation, Finance and Risk Management in a collaborative, in-office setting.

Examples include Python, SQL and PowerBI tasks, with mentoring and development opportunities as you support client-focused financial services initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028
• Required to have passed at least one actuarial exam
