Job summary

Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America (Hannover Re) seeks an Actuarial Associate / Sr Actuarial Associate for the Corporate Actuarial department. This full-time role in the Actuarial Development Program offers exposure to experience studies, pricing assumptions, and forecasting using advanced modeling software.

You will contribute to regulatory reporting and in-force management while progressing through the ADP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1 - 6 years of Life insurance/reinsurance actuarial experience
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Ability to execute on multiple priorities simultaneously
• Microsoft PC software: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, VBA
• Minimum of two actuarial exams from the Society of Actuaries with the intent to be credentialed.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, aggregate, and develop data for experience studies using data analytics tools.
• Assess client information to construct mortality, lapse, and other pricing assumptions; coordinate with underwriting, marketing and reinsurance teams.
• Develop, maintain, and run models for profit testing, reserving, economic capital, forecasting and in-force management; present results.
