Job summary

DW Simpson Global Actuarial & Analytics Recruitment is seeking an Actuarial Associate for an Insurance Risk Modeling role in New York. The candidate will develop and enhance liability models for Life and Annuity lines, and perform liability stresses across GAAP, Stat, Econ, and Bermuda bases.

You will support new product launches, work hands-on with Python and actuarial tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate model outputs into business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in actuarial science or related field.
• ASA or FSA designation required.
• 4+ years of experience building life and/or annuity models.
• ALM and/or hedging experience beneficial.
• Proficient in Python, ALFA and/or Polysystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance insurance liability models across GAAP/Stat/Econ/Bermuda.
• Perform liability stresses and support new product launches.
