Job summary

Florida Blue, part of GuideWell, offers an Actuarial Rotation program designed to broaden your knowledge across internal and external teams. You will rotate approximately every 3 years, tackling pricing, forecasting, reserving, and related analytics while pursuing the FSA designation.

The program welcomes candidates with a math/statistics degree, SOA exam progress, and up to 1 year of experience. Remote or in-person work options are available, with a strong benefits package and competitive pay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math/Statistics or related field.
• Passing of 1 or more SOA exams.
• 0–1 year of related work experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAS, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Actuarial Rotation program with rotations about every 3 years, including internal and external teams.
• Support and analyze pricing, trend analytics, gross margin reporting, and financial reporting related to ACA, Medicare, Group, Reserves, and Segment teams.
• Increase knowledge of actuarial science and insurance theory with progression toward the FSA designation.
• Open to remote or in-person candidates.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Math/Statistics or related field

Passing of 1 or more examinations from the SOA
