Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field and at least two years actuarial experience.
• Passed at least 4 actuarial exams toward an ASA or ACAS certification.
• Ability to translate actuarial concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Pursues self-development and builds effective relationships by sharing resources and knowledge with colleagues and customers.
• Completes projects by applying up-to-date actuarial knowledge and collaborating cross-functionally to meet deadlines.
• Supports actuarial documentation by reviewing actuarial portions of financial reports and tax returns for accuracy.
• Assists with product line evaluations by analyzing financials, pricing, reserves, valuation, and cash flows.
• Conducts actuarial literature reviews to support research and standards.
• Analyzes financial risks and opportunities using actuarial methods and data.
• Translates actuarial concepts for non-technical partners and adheres to actuarial standards of practice.
• Learns and applies actuarial models and validates data in modeling efforts.
