Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an actuarial professional to develop capabilities in pricing, reserving, capital management, predictive modeling, and large-account pricing while working toward passage of actuarial exams.

The role supports your success by providing study time and incentives for completion, and you will transform raw data into insights to help customers identify, manage, and finance their risks.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's Degree and no prior experience in the actuarial area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 2 or more year technical/insurance experience.
• Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams.

Basic Qualifications

• Compeleted Bachelors Degree and No prior experience required in the Actuarial area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance ApprenticewithAssociateDegreeand 2 or moreyearstechnical/insurance experience
• Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams

Preferred Qualifications

• Previousactuarial internship or related experience
• Successful completion of two or more actuarial exams
• Dedication to the Casualty Actuarial Societies’ accreditation exam process with a goal of obtaining both ACAS and FCAS
• Ability to analyze data and offer insight to non-technical professionals
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or knowledge of statistical analysis software
