You will compile, validate, and analyze data for actuarial models, reports, and exhibits under senior staff guidance, contributing to regulatory submissions and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in an analytical, actuarial, data, or reporting role (internships and co-ops accepted).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and foundational experience working with data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and comfort validating results and double-checking numbers.
  • Ability to organize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with statistical and regulatory reporting, including data preparation, validation, and creation of standard exhibits for actuarial and financial reports.
  • Preparing components of quarterly actuarial reports, including reconciliations between actuarial and financial systems and other supporting schedules.
  • Performing large claim reviews and basic modeling analyses to support reserve studies and management reporting.
  • Supporting pricing analysis and rate filings by organizing data, exhibits, and documentation for internal and regulatory audiences.
  • Assisting with reinsurance submissions by compiling exposure, loss, and premium data and helping prepare related reports and exhibits.
  • Completing ad hoc analytical projects and regulatory requests for underwriting, claims, actuarial leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Performing data quality checks, documenting data sources and report logic, logging issues, and helping test fixes to improve actuarial processes and tools.
  • Collaborating with actuarial leadership, underwriting, claims, finance, and others to understand analytical needs, prepare summary tables and visuals, and respond to routine questions about standard actuarial reports and dashboards.

The Role & What You'll Do

In this role, you'll support our Actuarial Services team by compiling, validating, and analyzing data used in actuarial models, reports, and exhibits, contributing to statistical and regulatory reporting, reserving and pricing analysis, reinsurance submissions, and financial performance monitoring under the guidance of senior staff.

Required qualifications
