Job Description: We're looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join Penn Mutual! In this role you will gain hands‑on experience across multiple actuarial disciplines while progressing toward your FSA designation. Responsibilities
  • Perform actuarial calculations and analyses supporting product development, financial management, reserving, experience studies, risk management, and other business initiatives.
  • Analyze data, assumptions, and results, investigating and resolving issues as appropriate.
  • Support actuarial research, audits, financial reporting, and regulatory or rating agency requests.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for management and other internal or external stakeholders.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, including the use of emerging technologies and AI‑enabled tools, to improve actuarial efficiency.
  • Partner with departments such as Accounting and Operations to support cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Adhere to company policies, actuarial standards, and the company's framework of internal controls.

Education

Bachelor's Degree major/concentration in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related discipline

Required Experience

Required Experience 0-3 Years of experience Required and One exam toward the eventual attainment of ASA Required and Committed to pursuing the FSA designation Required and Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
