Job summary

DATTCO in Watertown, CT is hiring full-time and part-time Activity Transport Drivers in our Coach & Tour Group. You will transport customers to events and other destinations, assist with luggage, and ensure safe, courteous operation of assigned vehicles.

Schedules may allow home each night, with opportunities to drive motorcoaches when available. Minimum qualifications include a CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement (CT F endorsement may be required), strong customer service and communication

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement required or CT F endorsement (will be secured if needed).
• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with flexible days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers to events, weddings, and destinations.

• Move and handle luggage; perform pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.

• Activity transport positions offer schedules where driver is home every night but has the option of working in motorcoach as well when available.
• Estimate annual compensation of $60,000-75,000.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Transport customers to sporting events, weddings and other destinations.
• Safely & efficiently navigate routes that vary by customer need.
• Assist passengers.
• Moving & handling of luggage.
• Inspect vehicle before and after shift to ensure operational safety.
• Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Exemplify excellent customer service through respectful, courteous, cooperative, and polite treatment of others.

Minimum Requirements:

• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement. Connecticut license holders will also require an F endorsement. DATTCO will work with candidates to secure necessary endorsements.
