The Activity Therapist will evaluate and administer therapy aligned with the treatment plan, utilizing diverse therapeutic procedures to maximize patient functioning across life areas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in relevant field is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
• Appropriate certification in Occupational Therapy or Recreation Therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• The Activity Therapist evaluates and administers therapy to patients in accordance with goals provided in the treatment plan.
• Evaluation and therapy programs are developed through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a patient’s life.

Education
