Job summary

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic Activities Therapist to support the Director of Recreational Therapy in delivering prescribed recreation services to residents. The role includes scheduling and supervising hair appointments and organizing leisure and socialization activities to enhance resident well-being.

This PRN position requires availability on weekends and evenings. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with at least two years of experience and a valid SC driver’s license are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or similar field with at least two years' experience.
• Valid SC driver’s license in good standing.
• Knowledge of therapeutic relationships, processes, adolescent growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management, crisis management of aggressive behaviors and CPR.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Recreational Therapy and deliver prescribed and divisional recreation services to residents.
• Schedule and supervise hair appointments.
• Provide leisure and socialization activities for residents.
• Work weekends and evenings as required.

Responsibilities

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic and talented Activities Therapist.

The Activities Coordinator provides support to the Director of Recreational Therapy to deliver prescribed and divisional recreation services to residents, schedules and supervises hair appointments, and utilizes their experience and education to provide leisure and socialization activities for the residents.

This is a PRN Position, Weekends and Evenings required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a similar field and with a minimum of two years’ experience required.
• Must have a valid SC driver’s license in good standing.
• Must possess knowledge of therapeutic relationships, therapeutic processes, adolescent growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management, crisis management of aggressive behaviors and CPR.
• Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
