Job summary

The Blossoms at Nashville Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an Assistant Activity Director to support the Activity Director in planning, organizing, and directing the activity programs in accordance with regulations and facility policies. You will collaborate with medical staff, coordinate with departments, interview patients or families, and participate in committees and planning meetings.

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must have experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of this facility.
Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary.
Interview patients or family members to obtain activity information.
Attend meetings with administration, medical and nursing staff and other related departments.
