Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking an Activity/Programming Director in North Attleboro, MA to create and manage a comprehensive seven-day activity program for assisted living residents. The role oversees staff and a van driver, coordinating events and family programming to enrich residents’ experiences.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, proven management experience, and familiarity with aging and disability issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; knowledge of aging and disability issues.
  • Management and leadership experience.
  • Experience working with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and coordinates activities and programs to enhance resident quality of life.
  • Evaluates programs to ensure quality and fit for all residents.
  • Develops a seven-day activity program engaging all residents.
  • Coordinates family-centered programming and schedules.
  • Leads and works with activity staff and van driver to implement programming.
  • Supports independent program pursuits and community engagement.
  • Produces monthly newsletters and calendars for internal and external audiences.
  • Manages programming staff and transportation support.
