Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activity Director to lead our recreational therapy program at McMurray Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare in McMurray, PA. As an Activity Director, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive activity program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that incorporates a range of recreational, therapeutic, and social activities to promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to identify and address the needs and interests of residents and patients
• Plan and coordinate special events, festivals, and activities that promote community building and socialization
• Develop and maintain activity programs that cater to diverse interests, abilities, and needs
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activity programs
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs, making recommendations for improvement as needed
• Maintain accurate records of activity programs, including attendance, participation, and feedback from residents and patients

Complete resident MDS and generate resident activity plan of care

Requirements:
