Job summary

Terrace-Manor-Nursing-and-Reha is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the daily recreation program in our nursing facility. The role includes completing the activity calendar, updating the monthly birthday board, and changing resident room calendars each month.

You will lead one-on-one and group activities daily and assist with family visits while documenting participation. Daily charting and weekly activity reports are required, and you will operate under the supervision of the Activity

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Punctuality and good time management habits are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Activity Calendar.
• Complete monthly Birthday Board.
• Change calendars in Resident's room monthly.
• Lead 1 on 1 and group activities daily.
• Charting and participation book daily and weekly.
• Assist with family visits and document visits.
• Work under the supervision of the Activity Director.
