Job summary

Moberly Area Community College (MO) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Activity Center Manager and help coordinate the MACC Activity Center operations in the Moberly area.

The position is full-time, 12-month, with a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and weekend hours, especially during basketball season. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required, and PEERS retirement applies.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Center Manager with daily operations.
• Help schedule events and activities with MACC staff.
• Maintain financial practices within budgeted guidelines and assist with deposits.
• Develop and implement programs for the college and community.
• Assist with sponsor fee promotions and collections.
• Oversee concession stand operations and POS system.
• Attend Greyhound basketball games and related events as needed.
• Prepare invoices, statements, receipts, requisitions and letters.
• Answer phones and take messages.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Activity Center Manager or Director of Plant Operations.
