PACS is seeking an Activity Assistant to help the Activity Director run a creative, interactive activities program aligned with regulatory and corporate standards. The role emphasizes meeting residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs through planned activities.
Key duties include planning and conducting activities, coordinating the monthly calendar, and supporting communications across staff, residents, and families. Requires high school diploma and preferred 1 year in long-term care.
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program. This must be done in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
