  • Experience with a wide variety of leisure time activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents in contacting their family through mail, phone, and video calls.
  • Help with constructing large calendars, decorating boards, and hanging calendars.
  • Set up, coordinate, and lead small group and one on one activities as scheduled.
  • Assist Activities Coordinator with large group activities.

SUPERVISOR: ACTIVITY DIRECTOR

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To provide a therapeutic activity program that meets all Federal and State guidelines as well as the needs and interests of all residents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Activity certification preferred.
  • One year experience working in long term care setting is preferred.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Job involves reaching, bending, stooping, bending, lifting, carrying and manipulating various supplies and equipment.
  • Involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, infections, illnesses and/or loud noises.
