Job summary

Fairmont on Clayton is a 90-bed Senior Living Community located in Richmond Heights, MO. We provide compassionate care to our residents, with a focus on enhancing quality of life through engaging activities and social programs.

As part of the Resident Care Team, you will help plan and lead meaningful social activities, supervise residents during events, and ensure safety while using supplies and equipment. A positive attitude and flexibility are essential to thrive in our community.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or training in long term care setting preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual and group recreational activities for residents.
• Supervision and protection of residents during activities and compliance with safety regulations and policies.
• Care in use of supplies and equipment.

General Purpose

Assist with individual and group recreational/social activity for residents as an intricate part of the total resident care. Assist with meaningful and interesting social and recreational activities for residents, geared to their age group. Supervision and protection of residents during activities as well as compliance with safety regulations and policies. Care in use of supplies and equipment.
