Job summary

Peabody Retirement Community is looking for a Full-Time Activity Assistant to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, compassionate, dependable, and enjoys building meaningful relationships with older adults.

As an Activity Assistant, you’ll help create engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents. Responsibilities include leading activities, spending one-on-one time, and assisting with events, while supporting residents including those living with dementia in a

What You’ll Do

As an Activity Assistant, you’ll help create engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Leading and assisting with individual and group activities
• Spending one-on-one time with residents based on their interests and needs
• Assisting with planning creative activities and special events
• Encouraging resident participation and socialization
• Escorting residents to and from activities
• Working with residents living with dementia and adapting activities to meet their abilities and interests
• Helping create a positive, welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
