Green Meadows Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Malvern, PA is seeking an Activity Assistant to engage residents through meaningful activities and social interaction.

You will help plan and run activities, transport residents, coordinate events, and provide daily one-on-one visits, fostering community and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience with elderly residents or activities coordination is helpful.
• Ability to plan and organize engaging activities and social events.
• Strong communication and empathy when interacting with residents and families.

Green Meadows Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 184-bed skilled nursing center located in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents through engaging activities and promoting socialization.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute fun activities for residents, encouraging participation and socialization

• Set up and clean up the activity room, ensuring a welcoming environment for our residents

• Transport patients from their rooms to the activity location, promoting mobility and independence

• Engage residents in daily activities, fostering a sense of community and connection

• Assist in organizing outings and events, including transportation and accommodations for participants

• Provide daily one-on-one visits with residents, delivering activities and companionship to those who need it most

• Coordinate with guest speakers, entertainers, and musicians to bring a variety of events and experiences to our residents

• Adhere to professional standards and follow facility policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
