Job summary

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, FL, is seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging programs for residents. You will help create calendars, coordinate transportation, and monitor participation.

The role requires a high school diploma and a valid CNA certification, with at least 1 year of nursing home experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director in creating and posting a monthly calendar of activities in large print for residents and visitors.
• Ensure a copy of the activity calendar is placed in each resident's room.
• Interview residents and/or family members to identify activity preferences.
• Coordinate and assist residents in getting to and from activities within the facility.
• Assist in conducting scheduled programs that promote overall well-being.
• Document resident attendance and complete progress notes reflecting participation and response.
• Observe resident mood, behavior, and engagement levels, reporting changes to the Activities Director.
• Encourage resident and family involvement in activity planning when possible.

Job Description

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging programs that enhance the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Activities Director in creating and posting a monthly calendar of activities in large print for residents and visitors.

Requirements
