Job summary

Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Gloversville, NY is seeking a dedicated full-time Activities Aide CNA to support residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will implement activities, work directly with residents on units, and assist with program logistics.

This role requires a NY CNA license, comfort with technology for documentation, and a positive, collaborative attitude to help our residents maintain independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have NY CNA license and experience with activities in healthcare or recreation therapy.
• Previous geriatric population experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills are necessary to document participation and attendance.
• Positive attitude and energy are a must, with ability to work as a team.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to multi-task.

Fulton Center is now hiring an energetic & passionate full-time Activities Aide CNA to work in our skilled nursing facility in Gloversville, NY.

We now offer Daily Pay through a trusted third-party provider giving you faster access to your earnings.

DUTIES:

• Implement activities programs for residents; focus on individual interests.
• Work directly with residents on units; without direct supervision.
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
• Assist recreation specialists andset up program areas as needed.
• Keep daily attendance and document residents' participation in activities.
• Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units.
• Be familiar with established emergency procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid NY CNA license
• Experience with activities in a healthcare setting or college work in recreation therapy
• Previous experience with the geriatric population preferred
