Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with seniors is a plus, not required.
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, hospitality, customer service, education, or healthcare is a plus.
• Creative, outgoing, dependable, and compassionate personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
• Genuine interest in working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Lead group activities, games, entertainment, crafts, and events.
• Provide meaningful one-on-one engagement for residents.
• Encourage participation while respecting individual interests.
• Create a fun, welcoming environment.
• Monitor participation and report concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain attendance and participation records.
• Decorate the community for holidays, seasons, and special events.
• Work closely with the Director of Activities, nursing team, and other staff.
• Support activities that promote resident socialization, engagement, and quality of life.

Complete Care at Madison is hiring a friendly, compassionate, and energetic Activity Aide to join our team. If you enjoy working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences, this is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

As an Activity Aide, you’ll help plan and facilitate engaging recreational activities, social events, games, entertainment, and one-on-one activities that promote socialization, independence, and quality of life.

What You’ll Do
