Job summary

Chateau Nursing and Rehab in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to enrich residents' daily living through engaging programs. You will work with staff to implement individual and group activities that support recovery, social interaction, and well-being.

The role emphasizes documentation, calendar planning, policy adherence, and encouraging participation in Resident Council. A 1-2 year experience in a healthcare social or recreational program is preferred; full-time benefits

• 1-2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing group and individual activity programs based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities, as identified in assessments and care plans.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar and coordinating events.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage resident participation in Resident Council and schedule monthly meetings.
