Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care or related field is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist residents.
• Dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Help decorate and prepare for seasonal events, holidays, and special celebrations.

• Document resident attendance and participation according to facility policies.
• Assist with outings and community events when scheduled.
• Work closely with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team to meet residents' individual interests and needs.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment during all activities.
