Job description

We are seeking a competent Activity Aide to engage residents in a variety of activity and group programming. The ideal candidates would be excited to both identify new ideas for activities and motivate residents to participate. Activity Aides may also need to obtain materials for programs and provide transportation to off-site events

Requirements

• Must be able to show empathy, patience, and connect well with the population
• Demonstrates an appreciation of the heritage, values, and wisdom of the resident
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Be able to handle and process problems, situations, or emergencies in a polite, respectful, and professional manner
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with eligibility to drive the facility’s van.
