Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Lexington, KY, is seeking an Activity Coordinator to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residential patients. In this role, you will assist in planning and implementing engaging activities while meeting state standards for scheduling. You will foster community involvement and support residents unable to attend group events.

The position offers competitive pay of up to $16.01 per hour along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: previous experience in activities or healthcare; not required.
  • Preferred: CNA certification; not required.
  • Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.

  • Initiate and promote activities both inside and outside the facility.
  • Provide in‑room activities for residents who cannot attend daily events.
  • Create and maintain an ongoing calendar of activities.
  • Consistently meet state standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
  • Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
