The Activities Assistant is responsible for developing and implementing life enrichment programs in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. They may be directed by the department director or Executive Director to address the residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. The role emphasizes the value that the resident comes first, creating a home-like environment and modeling person-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
• High school diploma preferred
• One year of experience in activities programs in a healthcare setting preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
