CommuniCare Health Services' Bridgeport Healthcare Center in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a PRN Activities Assistant to join our team. You'll work directly with residents, planning and leading engaged activities to support socialization, rehabilitation and recovery in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, and creative, comfortable with helping confused residents, and able to use basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with related software applications preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy and skills required.
• Active state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized activity care and services for residents.
• Functions as a team member within the activities department and as part of an interdisciplinary team on an assigned unit(s).
• Engages residents to support socialization and community involvement.
