Summary

As an Activities Leader in the Geriatric Program, you will work with nursing home residents, promoting social interactions, opportunities for leisure, and personal wellbeing while helping residents meet their goals. Activities may include one on one interventions as identified in individualized treatment plans and small groups of around five participants.

This position works primarily during evening hours (3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) with some flexibility and every other weekend rotation. The part‑time position will work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Licenses and Certifications

CNA certification or ability to pass CNA certification required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience working in a nursing home, with people with mental illness, and leading activities.
