Job summary

Petersburg Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family, is seeking a Part Time Activities Assistant to engage residents with creative activities and social programs. You will work directly with residents, planning and facilitating events to promote socialization and well-being.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a post-acute care setting located in Petersburg, VA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior work/life experiences, preferably in healthcare.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with software applications.
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct activities.
