Job summary

Braxton Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family, is seeking an energetic Activities Leader to engage residents in meaningful social and recreational activities on a part-time basis. You will work directly with residents, plan and lead a variety of activities, and help create a caring community that supports aging, rehabilitation, and recovery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with related software applications preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize and conduct activities.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Active state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized activity care and services for residents.
• Work as part of the activities department and interdisciplinary team.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to support well-being.

Skills

Prior work/life experiences in health

Experience with related software

Plan, organize, conduct activities

Basic computer literacy

Active state driver's license
