Job summary

Spring Gardens Olympus Ranch in Murray, Utah seeks an Activities Director to design and oversee engaging programs for residents. You will build an activities calendar, recruit and train volunteers, and assess residents' interests to tailor offerings that promote wellness and quality of life.

The role requires scheduling evening/weekend events and delivering exceptional service with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a therapeutic recreation or senior activities role in a senior living, hospice, home health, or skilled nursing setting.
• Driver's license required.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops an activities program based on residents' interests and abilities to enhance wellness and quality of life.
• Creates a comprehensive activities calendar highlighting scheduled events and outings.
• Establishes and maintains a volunteer program, recruiting and training volunteers.
• Completes new resident and quarterly assessments to identify interests.
• Schedules evening and weekend events and facilitates these activities.
