Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring an Activities Associate at the Lake Buena Vista, FL resort to organize and lead guest activities, manage the activity spaces, and coordinate with the supervisor to ensure memorable vacations for guests.

The role requires creativity, strong communication, and the ability to operate large vehicles when needed, with a schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits are provided for 30+ hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct and record inspections of related activity areas in compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Manage a cash bank following proper cashiering procedures (when applicable).
• Attend and complete required trainings.
• Handle all safety issues and incidents immediately.

Now hiring for Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
The pay for this position is $15/hour.
How You’ll Shine
As an Activities Associate, your job will literally be fun and games. Each day you’ll organize and lead recreational activities to help guests enjoy their vacations and create lifelong memories with their family and friends. In coordination with the Activities Supervisor, you’ll also operate all activity-related areas such as the movie theater, fitness center, pool and cabana, and banquet rooms.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.

What You’ll Bring

• Creativity and customer obsession.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
• State driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
