Job summary

Nspire Healthcare is seeking an Activities Assistant to implement the established plan for resident activities and recreation in a resident- and family-focused community. You will help organize movies, parties, and activities while encouraging participation and engagement across residents.

The role requires teamwork, compassion, and a commitment to improving systems and processes, with opportunities for growth in a supportive environment. This is a full-time on-site position in Florida.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a Certified Nurse Assistant License.
• Some experience in providing recreation services to residents in a health care setting is preferred.
• Must possess a current unencumbered valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, assessments, and activity profiles.
• Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities and organize games, crafts, religious services, parties, etc.
• Assist Community Life Director in expanding services.
• Provide innovative ideas to continually improve systems and processes.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, assessments, and activities profiles.
• Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities so that all residents are involved in activities by engaging in and organizing games, crafts, religious services, parties, etc.
• Assist Community Life Director in expanding services.
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a Certified Nurse Assistant License.
• Some experience preferred in providing recreation services to residents in a health care setting.
• Must possess current unencumbered valid state driver's license.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
