Activities Assistant - Senior Living - Part Time

Join us at Triple Crown Senior Living as an Activities Assistant at Forest Hills Commons in Louisville, KY. We are seeking a dedicated individual to enhance the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities and programs.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Part-time, 28 hours per week with weekend availability
  • Location: Louisville, KY

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in planning and implementing diverse activities promoting residents' physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual well-being.
  2. Foster positive relationships through regular interaction and engagement.
  3. Plan and execute events that promote social engagement with residents and their families.
  4. Coordinate with outside speakers and performers to keep programming fresh and interesting.
  5. Maintain activity calendars, attendance records, and inventory of supplies.
  6. Work closely with team members to coordinate and deliver comprehensive resident care and engagement.
  7. Assist in transportation coordination for activities and appointments.
  8. Update community boards and digital displays with current activity information.
  9. Encourage resident participation and provide individualized support.
  10. Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
  • Understanding and adherence to TCSL policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Good relationships with residents and co-workers.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Ability to sit for long periods.
