Scenic Wellness & Rehabilitiation seeks an Activity/Recreation Assistant to support the Activity/Recreation Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing activity and recreational services for the center’s patient population.

You will help develop and deliver programs to promote engagement in normal life activities, maintain patient precautions, and encourage participation in group and individual activities such as arts/crafts, outings, and educational events.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma with course work in recreation is desirable.
• Previous experience in leading recreational activities, arts/crafts, intellectual/educational activities, community outings, etc., desired.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in the development and delivery of activity/recreational programs to promote the patients’ opportunities for engaging in normal life enhancement pursuits and to increase and/or maintain functioning levels.
• Maintains precautions/limitations list on each patient.
• Encourages patient participation in group and individual activities including arts/crafts, community outings, religious activities, intellectual/educational activities, community/center service activities, recreational activities, etc.
• Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.

Objective
