Job summary

Complete Care at Kimberly Hall South in Windsor, CT is seeking an Activities Assistant for a full-time role with every other weekend requirements. The position values strong caregiving skills and prior long-term care experience to enhance residents' daily lives through engaging activities.

You will lead group programs, coordinate with care plans, and build meaningful connections with residents and their families in a compassionate, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Ability to lead group programs.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
• Experience with a long term care population/setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
• Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist with activity planning and scheduling.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.
