Job summary

Runk & Pratt Health Care Ent Inc is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents with daily activity programming and events. You will assist in planning, conducting, and evaluating activities tailored to individual interests and care plans, and communicate schedules to staff and residents.

The role requires ability to lift 50 lbs, pass a background check, TB screening, and demonstrate mature judgment in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED.
• State Police background check required.
• TB screening within 7 days prior to start date.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing activities assessments, progress notes and updates as directed by Director.
• Plan, conduct and evaluate scheduled activities to meet residents' interests and care plans.
• Communicate daily activity schedules to residents and staff.
• Transport residents to activities safely and set up equipment as needed.
