Four Winds Manor is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, run, and lead vibrant social and recreational events for residents. You’ll help bring joy, encourage participation, and create a welcoming atmosphere in our Verona, WI community.

Ideal candidates are energetic, creative, with strong public speaking and communication skills, and a team spirit. Full-time schedule Mon–Fri, with occasional evenings and weekends as activity calendars require.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and professional communication skills.
• Public speaking skills for leading large groups.
• Dependable, flexible, organized, creative, a strong team player and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily group activities, seasonal events, and social gatherings.
• Encourage resident participation and keep events engaging.
• Provide one-on-one connections with residents.
• Plan events, prepare activity rooms, and decorate for holidays.
• Assist with resident interviews, volunteer coordination, mail delivery, marketing, shopping, and voting.
• Maintain daily activity documentation, charting, room setup, and cleanup.
• Observe moods and well-being and report changes to leadership.

Four Winds Manor: Who We Are

• Four Winds Manor is a full service senior living facility offering skilled care, assisted living, rehabilitation, and memory care services. We are nestled outside of Madison, WI in a serene residential are in Verona

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the Crowd: Facilitate daily group activities, seasonal events, and fun social gatherings.
• Bring the Energy: Encourage resident participation and keep the fun rolling.
• Make Personal Connections: Spend quality 1‑on‑1 time visiting with residents.
• Get Creative: Help plan events, set up activity rooms, pull supplies, and deck the halls for holidays.
• Lend a Hand: Assist with resident interviews, volunteer coordination, mail delivery, marketing initiatives, shopping trips, and resident voting.
• Keep Things Smooth: Handle daily activity documentation, charting, room setup, and cleanup.
• Be an Extra Eye: Observe participant moods and well‑being, sharing any changes with leadership to ensure top‑notch care.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Public Speaking Skills: Confident and engaging when leading large groups.
• Communication & Care: Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and professional communication skills.
• Core Strengths: Dependable, flexible, organized, creative, a great team player, and strong with time management.

Schedule Details:

• Full-Time: Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Flexibility: Occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on the activity calendar.
