Peters Township Post Acute is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in planning and delivering engaging programs for residents. You will help design activities that meet residents’ interests and abilities while following state and federal standards.
Under supervision, you will schedule monthly calendars, coordinate outings and in-room activities, and help residents pursue hobbies. We value compassion, energy and dedication to improving quality of life for our residents.

You’ll provide assistance in caring for our residents by assisting with planning and execution of enrichment opportunities for our residents. You’ll work under supervision of our Activities Director to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.

The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program. This must be done in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
