Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to lead daily activities and enrichment programs for residents in a supportive, engaging environment.

You will encourage participation, help prepare calendars, escort residents, and maintain activity spaces while documenting participation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lead small group activities with residents.
• Driver's license may be required depending on role.
• Experience in senior living is preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation in activities.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
