Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to support coordinating, supervising and implementing resident activities. This full‑time role may require some evenings and weekends, with opportunities for additional hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–2 years of activities assisting preferred.
• Must be caring, compassionate, energetic and able to provide entertaining activities to residents.

• Willing to drive bus for resident outings.

Overview

The Activities Assistant will assist in the coordinating, supervising and implementing of the activities. This is a full-time position with a schedule that could include some evenings and weekends. Additional hours may be available as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implementing a broad activity program to meet resident needs.
• planning, directing and carrying out a program which covers recreation and educational development
• Transporting residents to and from outings

Qualifications

• Education : High School Diploma is required
• Experience: One to two years' activities assisting is preferred
• Must possess a caring, compassionate, energetic personality and a desire to provide entertaining and stimulating activities to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of residents
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities
• Must be willing to drive bus for resident outings
