Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities in Loveland, CO seeks an Activities Assistant to plan and lead activities for residents in a part-time, afternoon role. You will help promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being through engaging programs and events.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, energetic, and capable of coordinating with residents and families. Requires high school diploma and basic Microsoft Office skills; CDL not required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working in a care facility desired.
• Certified Activity Director, Recreational Therapist, or Occupational Therapist is desired.
• Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), Publisher, Print Shop, and related software.

A CDL may be required for large vans in accordance with state requirements.* Must have working knowledge of personal computers, scanners, digital cameras, copiers and printers.**Education/Experience:**High school degree or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working in a care facility desired. Certified Activity Director, Recreational Therapist, or Occupational Therapist is desired. Must have previous experience in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), Publisher, Print Shop, and the ability to work with other applicable software.**Working Environment/Physical Requirements:**Position requires strenuous physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently. Drives and/or accompanies residents to outside activities frequently, occasionally in inclement weather.
